I really enjoyed the convenient access to George Rogers Park, which was perfect for leisurely walks, and I loved how close we were to the Bomber Restaurant, where we had some great meals during our stay.

Traffic noise blasted through the walls all night, which might make it hard for some to catch a good sleep. The room lacked complete curtains, leaving light seeping in. I ended up using a paper clamp to manage that issue myself. The refrigerator didn’t work, losing my cooler items, and the TV remote barely responded to signals. A broken luggage rack in the room didn’t scream comfort, and the chair looked like it had seen better days. Little things—like seeing daylight around the door or dealing with the noisy air conditioning—added to the overall feeling of wear.

The external appearance suggested a dive, but the room surpassed expectations with impeccable cleanliness. Every corner sparkled, especially the glass shower doors and the perfectly made bed that invited a restful sleep. Unfortunately, the overall experience was dampened by the outdated furnishings and a broken window latch that made security a concern. Accessibility was decent, but noise from the busy street was noticeable at night, detracting from the comfort of the otherwise cozy environment.
